Postponing Release Of My Next Book “The Ship”…

THE SHIP - COVER Final

Due to the painful situation my family is facing (my father-in-law is dying of cancer), I’ve decided to push back the release of my second novel “The Ship” until December of this year.

 

Originally, I planned on releasing it in October.  And I will be making sure the book is available in Trade Paperback as well as all e-book formats such as Kindle, Nook, Apple, Sony, etc. at that time.  I want everyone who wants a copy to be able to get one in the format they need.

 

I will also be taking great care to make sure the book is properly formatted and professionally edited.  Most of my readers did not mind, but I want to make sure I’m delivering a great product as well as a really good story.

 

I apologize to any fans who are waiting to get their hands on this new book, which follows the events of my first paranormal/mystery “The Bridge”.  I will release samples from the second book in the Para-Earth Series to help tide you all over.

Originally from Levittown NY, I currently reside somewhere along the coast in California with my wife/co-author Helen.

A lot of my creativity was born from my lifelong love of science fiction and horror. As a child I grew up on the original Dark Shadows, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Doctor Who (which I still follow) and Anime.

A few of my favorite authors are HP Lovecraft, Jane Austen, Robert Asprin, Jodi Lynn Nye, Stephen King, Richard Matheson, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allan Poe, and so many more.

However, I do not spend all our time sitting behind a desk writing. I like to get out and try new things. We also like to explore new places, sometimes with family or friends. I've gotten plenty of ideas thanks to these adventures. I like to draw from personal experience because I feel it lends a bit of authenticity to a story and its characters. Which is probably why Helen and I still love to attend conventions which involve sci-fi, fantasy, anime, comics, you name it. Yes, we are Geeks and proud of it.

  1. Allan – I am a firm believer in things happen when they are meant to happen. Your book is meant to happen later than planned. Mine has taken me much longer than I originally anticipated.

    SO sorry to here about this….My love & prayers are with you. We keep hearing how much closer we are to curing cancer, but it seems to no avail. Life is so precious, and short. Please know you’ll be in my thoughts…… Author, Catherine Lyon 🙂
