Originally from Levittown NY, I currently reside somewhere along the coast in California with my wife/co-author Helen.
A lot of my creativity was born from my lifelong love of science fiction and horror. As a child I grew up on the original Dark Shadows, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Doctor Who (which I still follow) and Anime.
A few of my favorite authors are HP Lovecraft, Jane Austen, Robert Asprin, Jodi Lynn Nye, Stephen King, Richard Matheson, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allan Poe, and so many more.
However, I do not spend all our time sitting behind a desk writing. I like to get out and try new things. We also like to explore new places, sometimes with family or friends. I've gotten plenty of ideas thanks to these adventures. I like to draw from personal experience because I feel it lends a bit of authenticity to a story and its characters. Which is probably why Helen and I still love to attend conventions which involve sci-fi, fantasy, anime, comics, you name it. Yes, we are Geeks and proud of it.
Mr. Ray Bradbury died on June 5, 2012. It’s been a year since he left us with a legacy of books and stories, some of which have been made into movies and TV episodes (check out Ray Bradbury Theater on Amazon or YouTube). In this blog entry I’m not going to recap his life story. Mostly…
Those of you who have been following this blog (especially in the last couple of months) will be familiar with this image and the snippet of the song it comes from… “I wonder what tomorrow has in mind for me. Or am I even in its mind at all? Perhaps I’ll get a chance to…
I’m looking for honest reviews for my new paranormal/mystery novel “THE SHIP”. So far I’ve had 4 reviews on Amazon (all of them 5 star ratings), but I’ve only had one on Smashwords and over at Goodreads.com. I really would like to see more, since most prospective readers like to see what others are…
Recently there’s been a lot of discussion of Amazon Kindle’s latest program… “Kindle Unlimited”. Now for those of you have heard but don’t know a lot about it, here’s a quick recap in a nutshell. *Remember: this is only a brief overview and not an in-depth piece. I understand there are still some details to…
Hi everyone. For those who haven’t realized, I have this blog and another one. This blog has been mostly for talking about my novels that are finished or are under way. The other blog which I’ve titled, “MUSINGS OF A CREATIVE MIND” is all about writing itself. Dealing with writer’s block, getting ideas and inspirations,…
“The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”(Scottish poet Robert Burns (from his poem “To a Mouse” 1785) As most of you, if not all, are aware that I’ve been trying to bring to life the “Library of the Obscure” (LOTO for short here), over on YouTube. The idea behind the library…

Spectacular! Love the colors. The title stands out perfectly. Bette
Thanks I tried to choose my color palette very carefully.
Looks so much different with color. I like it. Congratulations. I am so jealous – I still have to start mine.
You’re right it does look so different, I’m hoping it will help catch people’s eyes when it is on the shelves. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for a cover. I’m sure it will be awesome.
I do like it.
